Utilizing six "F" Low Dispersion (FLD), two Special Low Dispersion (SLD) elements, and five aspherical elements, this lens significantly reduces chromatic aberrations and color fringing across its zoom range, ensuring enhanced clarity and color accuracy. Moreover, improved control over sagittal coma flare ensures consistently high resolution throughout the entire frame.
Beyond exceptional optical performance, the use of five aspherical elements also contributes to the lens' compact design, thanks to their slim, highly polarized construction. Combined with a bright f/2.8 aperture and rounded 11-blade diaphragm, this lens produces stunning bokeh effects.
